Trip to Darwin, Shooter’s Special…

Feels so great after a night rest , after browsing through all the pictures i have taken. I decided to do this “shooter’s special”. Let all of you guys out there to see what’s going on with our Shooters in Darwin .

Apparently there is something wrong with this picture. At that point of time, Vanessa was stuffing Marsh mellows into her mouth, there is 1 on her lips and her hands ready to grab for more. Oh well, We ‘ALL’ know what’s going on at that point of time .

Hui Min couldn’t take it anymore, so she suggested.. Scissors Paper Stone… Loser have to EAT chocolates!. OMG.. where could you get such a good deal????.

Friday, the day before we fly off. We came by this Chinese food stall and decided to settle our lunch there. A simple meal like mine ( chicken + fish + milk coffee ) cost $9 Aus.

Summary Of My Trip To Darwin, Australia – Part 1 ( Sun Set )

Finally i am back in Singapore after 9 days. This trip to Darwin is indeed very rewarding, although there are some unpleasant moments but luckily the percentage is low, We won a lot of Gold/Silver/Bronze Medals from Arafura Games being held at Australia’s Darwin.

Perhaps the unforgettable experience for me was the visit to Darwin’s Thursday Night Market, I get to see the Sun Set and enjoy my solo shopping at the night market. Particularly the Sun Set.. it was a WOW WOW experience for me.

Darwin’s version of ” Pa Sa Ma Lam “…. Really a lot of variety of food for us to choose and eat!.  But the things ain’t cheap there as well.

The Night Market is just beside the Beach!.

We got there quite early and most of the stalls are still setting up, so while waiting for them to finish setting up their stalls. I made a walk down to the beach. And yes, the sun is scorching hot.

1/2 day left

I went to the range early this morning, to tag the weapons and check them out. It was lucky that we check them out 1 by 1, because we found ammunitions together with a weapon. Phew… such mistake made by shooter will cause us trouble later on at the customs.

After sending the weapons, i headed up for a short gym session. I didn’t do much, just 30mins of run and 45mins of weights training because i will be doing a lot of weights tomorrow ( transporting weapons and baggage etc ).  And i am really praying hard now that nothing will screw up tomorrow.

We are told to report to Changi Airport T2 @ 0500 hours. Omg… 0500 hours. Ok this is it. There is no turning back now.. let’s all march forward bravely.

2 more days

Another busy day for me, work flow in tremendously and i almost couldn’t finish my work. Before i could finish task1, task2 come in and followed by 3-4-5-6 and so on. All they all have 1 thing in common. They wanna get it done on the spot.

Tomorrow is the day, I’ll be in the range early in the morning to tag the gun. At the same time, inspect all the guns again.

Well, it is a blessing i am in a good mood so i didn’t blow my top off. But after getting all these work done, My good mood became moody mood. And they better appreciate my effort. OK, enough of whining.

I always enjoy walking this path to Safra, it relax my mind and bring back those good old memories i had when i was still an active shooter.  I won’t be walking this path anymore for like 9 days . hahaah
